Voices United, a group of progressive Robson women, invites you and other Robson residents to a free 21-Day Equity Challenge to learn about racial equity, promote unity and combat divisiveness in our community.

These days, we hear words like “systemic racism,” “privilege,” and “bias.” But what do they mean? Are they just "political correctness" or are they real? If so, what do they look like in the real world? Can they be harmful?

The 21-Day Equity Challenge, which kicks off Monday, March 7, will aid participants in understanding these and related issues in less than 20 minutes a day to help build awareness and perhaps give participants some ideas about how to make our community a better place for all.

Every morning, participants will receive an email with a link to an article, video, or podcast, material selected by Voices members who are Robson residents using resources from educational and cultural professionals. Participants also will be invited to share daily thoughts and reactions on an online blog, open only to participants. Participants also will be invited to an informal, collegial in-person discussion at the Ranch at the end of the 21 days.

You must register for the event to receive emails, use the blog and receive an invitation to the discussion.

As part of the Registration process, you will be asked if you are a Voices member.  If you are a member, click the Login to Register button.  If you are NOT a Voices member, just scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your name and email address.
