About this event

The exhibition Black Photojournalism explores a fascinating yet still largely overlooked chapter of American history: how Black photographers documented the monumental events and everyday lives of Black Americans in the Black Press from World War II until the mid-1980s.

An hourlong tour of the exhibit will be lead by Voices member Jane Scholz, a retired print journalist. Those carpooling will leave the Robson Clubhouse parking lot at 10 am. Those driving directly to the museum will meet us there in the lobby at 11 am.

Registration required. No fee.
